Losing Weight has now become an international pastime. From those of us that just want to lose those few pounds that we have put on through over indulging, to those who have a serious weight issue it has become a minefield.

Let’s face it the majority of us enter in to a diet regime determined to see it through and for the first few weeks we do. Then the dip comes, the cravings and hunger pangs rear their head and we are back to square one.
The problem is with so many diets to choose from, we don’t always go for the one that might be more suitable. So often we eat too little, in fact going from one extreme to another is only going to shock the body and cause no end of symptoms.
Let’s be honest we have all at some point in our lives entered in to a diet and basically cut down on too many calories. Its never going to work, the novelty will inevitably wear off. The misery of hunger will always get the better of you.

Yes I hear you say – it is all well and good giving yourself a pat on the back and saying ‘I can do this’, but in reality it is hard. All you need to relapse is a bad day at work, a stressful situation, the kids driving you mad and well you reach for the bad stuff.
Exercising goes hand in hand with dieting and if your not the work out type, then leave the car at home next time you need to go to the shops and walk, it is surprising how a good walk a few times a week can not only help you lose weight but also help your fitness levels.
